Major reflooding in color for redone scene

 

 This is my previous render of this scene, creating more scenes gave me more examples of strong lighting and I revisited this scene to perform those practices onto this scene.

 I chose to change the lighting by copying and pasting the lighting and animation from the boy leaves car scene:

(here) but adjusting it to a blue background compared to a grey one.


This is the reflooded scene which sharpens the colors used and makes them more richer and stronger visually.

Major final animation

This is it, the final animation, the culmination of all these months and blog posts. There was a slight hesitation on "WHEN" to post it leading up to it due to rendering times, but as it's complete and there's no reason to add extra stress and upload it on the last day, which is the 18th of May, I'll upload it now. Reacting to the animation, I'm quite proud of how far I've come from the previz. During the previz stage, I was unaware of Substance Painter and how much it could do for me. I was also unaware of After Effects, as I prioritized Adobe Premiere above it. However, I have found After Effects more user-friendly and powerful, regardless of my prior history with other editing software. As displayed in my blog posts by me, I did have to look at Youtube for help, and I was honest with that to help me improve on unfamiliar equipment.

Major zooming in on toy hero object

  (original) In the scene above, the Boy has thrown his toy in the air and then it is coming back down. In my edited version I had decided to zoom in when the toy had ascended and keep the zoom out of its downfall the same as the first shot would have already established what he objects further, so it did not feel like the same images just reversed for this sequence.
