MULTI PASS RENDERING AND COMPOSITING WITH ROBBY BRANHAM tutorial series 05

This tutorial focuses on multi-mattes. To summarize, multi-mattes allow hues to change like from orange to red, as long as they are in the same colour temperature, so orange to blue would not be possible with multi-mattes. Multi-mates can work on shaders, objects and sets. Multi-mattes effects will vary on these settings and the intended goal of the scene you are making.  The shader setting is the most flexible out of the three. In Maya you would change the object ID to match the object you want in the RGB settings. Then moving over to Nuke you would use expressions to tone down any bleeding or blurriness these bright colours can give.

Reviewing the videos in this summarized format is more better then pausing and typing because it is more presentable and readable.
